Facebook page roles

Facebook page can be created by any Facebook profile. There is no need to make individual profile to manage it. Multiple admin can be added in one single page .There are six different types of assign roles for person who manages Facebook pages. At first, When someone create a Page, he/she automatically become the Page’s admin/editor,  which means the person can change how the Page looks and publish as the Page. Assigning roles and change other’s role can be only change by admin.

Here are some steps which describes how to  add admin or any user roles for Facebook pages.

1) Open Facebook in Web Browser, directly go to page like ( www.facebook.com/pracasinfosys – as example) and click in “Pages” or Search on Facebook



2) Press On “Your Pages”



3) Click Button on your pages.



4) Press button on “Settings”



5) Press button on “Pages Roles”



Information about page roles.

Admin – This is the biggest post of access on a Facebook page. They can assign roles and change others’ roles of the person. Admin can post on the page, respond to messages, create Facebook ads, updates the post and view analytics for the page.

Editor – An editor has all of the rights of roles except for adding and assigning page roles these roles are only done by admin. They can post to the page, respond to messages, create ads on Facebook, updates the post.

Moderator – Page moderators have less importance than admins and editors. They can’t post to the page, but they can give feedback to comments posted on the Facebook page by fans or followers. They can also send messages, create Facebook ads and updates the post.

Advertiser – Advertiser role are limited to only creating Facebook or Instagram ads for the page,  viewing Facebook updates, the page quality and seeing who published as the page.

Analyst – It has the least role access of all the options. An analyst is restricted to viewing Facebook Insights, the page quality tab, and seeing who published as the page only. They cannot create ads or post anything in the Facebook page.

Jobs Manager – This role has the same right as an advertiser have, plus have a right to post and manage jobs.

6) Click on “Assign a New Page Role” to a add person.



7) Again Click any  post.



8) Then Click on “Add” button.



9) At last enter your password so that you can assign the role.


Now your assigned profile will be under the role that has been selected.
